Darren Randolph teases potential Jesse Lingard signing on Instagram

West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph has told Jesse Lingard on Instagram that he expects to see him at Rush Green soon.

Lingard enjoyed four extremely successful months on loan at the London Stadium last season and the club hold a keen interest in signing him permanently this summer.

However, Sky Sports recently reported that West Ham think they have only a 10 per cent chance of buying the England international this summer.

On his Instagram story on Sunday evening [15/08/21], Randolph wrote: “Jesse Lingard, I’ll be seeing you soon at Rush Green for training. You know you want to!”

Deal back on?

However, that does not seem to be the case with Randolph as he has posted two more things after the Lingard story.

The deal has not been completely ruled out yet and maybe there have been talks internally with Lingard.

As long as the 28-year-old does not sign a new contract at Old Trafford, we’ve got every chance in the world to get him to move to East London.

He’s going to be guaranteed regular playing time while he’ll only be a bit-part player at Man United.

Once Marcus Rashford is back from injury, Lingard will find himself lucky to even be on the bench there.

It’s time for Lingard to take the next flight to London and jet in for his medical.

Moyes is clearly a fan of the player and has repeatedly stated his intentions of signing him permanently this summer. [Football London]

The Randolph post only makes it that much more obvious about how well-liked he is at the club.
