Chris Sutton makes Cristiano Ronaldo admission as he predicts scoreline and result of Manchester United v West Ham United
Chris Sutton admits that Cristiano Ronaldo is starting to destroy his legacy at Manchester United but still expects them to beat West Ham.
The Hammers visit Old Trafford on Sunday evening after their European experiences in mid-week, hoping to continue the good run of form.
They currently sit in the top half of the Premier League and a win could see them ending the week in eighth place should results go their way.

Sutton told the BBC, predicting a 2-1 win for the hosts, “Losing defender Raphael Varane to injury is a blow for Manchester United but I think they will cope without him here, even though Gianluca Scamacca is a real threat.
“At the other end, it might be a different story. West Ham are a stubborn side, who are in decent form, but I don’t think their backline will be good enough to keep United out.
“United are making progress under Erik ten Hag but he still has to deal with the distraction of being asked questions about Cristiano Ronaldo the whole time, which must be a nightmare for him. It will probably be the same again after this game, whether Ronaldo plays or not.
“Great player that he is, Ronaldo has made it all about himself when really he is just one of the squad. It is quite sad, because he is starting to destroy his legacy at Old Trafford, and he might not be there for much longer.”
Hope for the best
Manchester United are decent but nowhere near where they should be given how much they’ve spent on transfers.
They’ve not had great luck against teams that sit back and play on the counter and will find it hard to beat the Hammers.
Moyes will like a reunion to Old Trafford as he’ll get another chance to prove to the hierarchy how good a manager he is.
The Scotsman paid for the lack of a proper footballing structure at the club and every manager that succeeded him, suffered the same fate.
Moyes knows how to make things tough for the big boys as he did against Liverpool and this game is tougher for the hosts than many are making it out to be.
With most of the West Ham players now back from injury, they may have close to a full-strength squad for the game.
We’re excited for the action to unfold and see the Hammers make lives difficult for the top-four contenders.
