Bristol City do not want to sell West Ham target Alex Scott
Bristol City assistant manager Curtis Fleming claims that he and Nigel Pearson are not looking to part ways with West Ham target Alex Scott.
According to Bristol World, the Hammers, along with Everton and Leicester, are keen on signing the 18-year-old midfielder.
The teenager has taken the Championship by storm and has made a name for himself, playing in multiple positions.
Fleming said, “The reality of football is if someone comes in and says I’ll give you £100million, we’d go alright then we might have to take that, but also if someone comes in and offers £400k you’d respond, are you winding me up?
“Nothing is going to happen here. We’re not thinking about him going, we haven’t even had it in the back of our mind.”

If Alex Kral does not end up signing permanently in the summer then the club will need alternatives.
However, instead of going for someone young and raw like Scott, it makes a whole lot of sense to give Conor Coventry an extended run in the team.
The youngster has proven himself on loan and has impressed whenever given the chance in pre-season.
If Moyes wants more quality then he should sign a senior midfielder who’s got loads of experience playing for club and country.
Scott might be a solid player who blossoms into an elite midfielder one day, but that clearly is not a gamble the club needs to take right now.
