Angelo Ogbonna hails West Ham defender Kurt Zouma
West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna has showered heaps of praise on summer signing Kurt Zouma.
The Hammers bounced back to winning ways in the Premier League after beating Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday at Elland Road.
Ogbonna appears to be relishing playing alongside the French defender, and he is blown away by Zouma’s outstanding qualities.

Ogbonna has suggested that Zouma brings a wealth of experience to the side and that he is a “good leader” at the back.
“It’s good to have Kurt here, he’s strong in the air, he’s a good leader,” said Ogbonna, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
“He came from a big club like Chelsea and is used to this kind of game, European games. He can control and read the game, and not just him but everyone.”

Superb signing.
Zouma joined the Hammers in the summer transfer window from Chelsea for a fee of £29.8m on a four-year deal.
During his seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge, Zouma won two Premier League titles, a Champions League and a League Cup.
He was superb last season for the Blues, but the money offered for him was too good to turn it down. Zouma has made an impact already at his new club, and he is emerging as a leader at the back.
Zouma was particularly outstanding during West Ham’s 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb and also impressed during the 2-1 defeat against Manchester United.
He has been a stellar signing for the Hammers. At 26, Zouma is about to enter his peak years, and West Ham can reap the benefits if they can keep him fit throughout.
West Ham have moved to the seventh in the Premier League following their 2-1 win over Leeds. The Hammers will face Rapid Vienna next in the Europa League clash on Thursday.
