Graham Potter ‘completes first signing as West Ham manager’ – Sky Sports
West Ham will make Ezechiel Banzuzi the first signing under Graham Potter, says David Garrido.
The Hammers look set to make add to their squad for the first time in the winter transfer window after agreeing a deal with OH Leuven for the midfielder [Rob Dorsett].
The Irons have made their move and look set to complete a deal worth an initial £10million with potential add-ons worth up to £3m.
Sky Sports News journalist Garrido has shared details of this deal and revealed that: “Graham Potter has made his first signing as the new West Ham boss.”
“West Ham have agreed a deal with Belgium club OH Leuven to sign midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi.”

After a lacklustre start to the season under Julen Lopetegui, the former Brighton boss will be hopeful of a brighter second half of the campaign.
The Englishman’s reign has started with a win and a defeat in the Premier League which could point towards new signings being needed to build some consistency.
With that being said, Potter has moved quickly to make signings possible before the 3 February deadline with Banzuzi set to be his first addition.
The 19-year-old is a versatile midfield option who can play as a number six or more advanced if required which will only prove to be useful as the season moves forward.
For £10m a deal for the Netherlands Under-21 international could prove to be largely risk-free and does represent a change in approach in the transfer window.
It would be interesting to know if Potter had a telling impact on this deal or whether the underfire Tim Steidten has had the final say at the London Stadium.
