Kyle Walker-Peters is under intense pressure ahead of West Ham's trip to Lincoln City.

The Hammers will be looking to bounce back from their 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers on Friday.

The Irons had to fight back from an early penalty conceded by Tomas Soucek, and they did with Jarrod Bowen's strike in the 70th minute.

Bowen then missed a late penalty which left Nuno Espirito Santo's side reeling at the London Stadium.

However, there were much bigger issues than that, and one of them was Walker-Peters' performance.

They travel to Sincil Bank looking to capture all three points on Wednesday, with changes very likely.

How did Kyle Walker-Peters perform in West Ham's draw with QPR?

Walker-Peters was replaced at half-time for the second game running, after 52 touches in the contest.

The 29-year-old created just once chance for his teammates, and completed one of two cross attempts, per FotMob data.

In terms of defensive contributions, he made just two, with one tackle and one interception.

The former Southampton man also committed two fouls, and was dribbled past once.

The most damning stat is his ground duels won, as he won one of his five attempts, for a 20 per cent success rate.

He simply must be dropped for the clash with the side managed by Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw after how he flopped last time out.

Who could replace Walker-Peters in West Ham team vs Lincoln?

Joel Veltman is the obvious contender to replace Walker-Peters, as the Dutchman is now back from injury

He was on the bench against the Hoops, but did not make it onto the pitch to make his comeback.

Veltman has averaged 0.91 chances created and has completed 50 per cent of his long passes so far this season.

Defensively, he has managed 6.95 contributions per game, with 2.42 tackles, 2.72 recoveries and 1.51 clearances.

In terms of duels, he has won 59.3 per cent on the ground and 44.4 per cent in the air.

Veltman is a much more reliable option than Walker-Peters at this point, and he must come back into the side against The Imps.

If he does not, then Nuno's side will be at a disadvantage and there will be an obvious weakness for the hosts to exploit.
