David Moyes has named his West Ham XI that will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup clash on Thursday (December 22).

Craig Dawson, who was an injury scare ahead of the game, has been deemed fit and makes the playing eleven.

Vladimir Coufal is suspended so was ineligible to play in this game.

Michail Antonio does not even make the bench for this one, even though Moyes said nothing about him pre game.

Must win

Despite a Covid scare in the Hammers camp, the game has gone ahead and by the looks of it, there could be a case or two among the players.

While nothing has been officially announced, it is still a worry for this game and the ones ahead in the Premier League.

Despite these predicaments, the Hammers will be looking to continue their good run of form in the cup.

West Ham

Having beaten Manchester United and Manchester City in the last two rounds, a win against Tottenham would be all the sweeter for the Hammers.

Hopefully, all the stars align and Moyes' men make it to the semi-finals of the cup.

Form does go out of the window during such stages and all that matters is the performance on the night.
