As shared by the print edition of BILD on 15 September, Fullkrug has had an "invaluable" presence on the Werder Bremen squad, other than just his goals.

They share about how Fullkrug acted as an "unofficial" assistant coach over the weekend from the sidelines after he was substituted off.

The German went "full throttle" to push his teammates during the closing stages of their game against FC Koln.

Fullkrug's loan does not have an option to buy, with his contract at West Ham also lasting until June 2028.

However, if he keeps these performances up and continues to maintain this level of influence, the northwestern German side may look to agree a permanent deal next summer.

What's the latest on West Ham's other senior loans?

Elsewhere, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has featured four times for Aston Villa, starting two of those games.

The DR Congo international, while out on loan, does have an obligatory buy clause should certain conditions be met.

At the moment, it is not publicly known what those conditions are.

Jean-Clair Todibo has also had a slow start to life out on loan with RC Lens, making just two matchday squads, and only getting 35 minutes so far.

Todibo's loan does not have any option to buy, so the Hammers will have a keen eye on how he gets on.

It has certainly been a mixed bag for those Irons players out on loan this season so far.
