Jamie O'Hara wasted no time in poking fun at West Ham United after the draw to QPR.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side can't seem to find their way back to the winning trail as of late.

It's now three games without a win in all competitions for the Hammers, as the chance to go top of the Championship on Friday was passed up.

After a hugely controversial first-half penalty was converted by QPR, Jarrod Bowen equalised with 20 minutes to go.

However, the Irons skipper would spurn the chance to seal victory after his stoppage time penalty was saved by Pierce Charles.

Shortly after the full-time whistle blew at the London Stadium, O'Hara took to social media to twist the knife even further.

What did Jamie O'Hara say after West Ham draw vs QPR?

Given the size of West Ham and the expectation they'll go straight back up this season, opposition fans and pundits alike are always waiting for the Irons to slip up.

As such, whenever points are dropped, it doesn't take long for a Hammers pile on to begin.

One of the most prominent voices in English football media is talkSPORT's O'Hara.

The Tottenham fan and ex-Spurs player is often on the receiving end of banter from his talkSPORT co-host Jason Cundy.

However, writing to his X account on Friday night, O'Hara took the opportunity to try and give a bit to West Ham after the QPR setback.

"Hold on I thought West Ham enjoyed being good in the Championship. IRONSSSSSS," he wrote.

For this to come from a Tottenham supporter - a side who West Ham just took half of their Premier League points tally in one night - right now is brave to say the least.

Thankfully for West Ham, Nuno's side have the perfect chance to throw this back in O'Hara's face over the next few games.

'Hurt' Jarrod Bowen sends personal message to West Ham fans after QPR setback

Why we're about to learn an awful lot about this West Ham team

There's no better way for West Ham to silence O'Hara than by going on a real run of form over the coming weeks.

This will be easier said than done, however, but that's exactly the sort of test the Hammers need.

An away trip to newly-promoted Lincoln City is next up for the Irons on Wednesday night, and this has banana skin written all over it.

Following that, West Ham enter a run of three games all against promotion contenders in Swansea, Southampton and West Brom.

This will take Nuno's side through to the end of October, so by the time November arrives, we'll know a lot more about this team and their minerals.
