Amanda Staveley reveals details of West Ham takeover bid as she speaks out over behind-the-scenes saga
Amanda Staveley is open to working with West Ham United after her takeover bid failed.
The head of PCP Capital Partners was heavily linked with taking over the Gold Family's 25.1 per cent stake at the Hammers.
However, Daniel Kretinsky is now the largest shareholder at the Irons after the pre-emption process, which gave existing shareholders the right to match the former Newcastle United chief's offer.
The possibility of a takeover at London Stadium seems to have ended for now, with Staveley breaking her silence on the process.
It looks like PCP Capital Partners were willing to make a massive commitment to take control of the East London club, but have failed in their attempts.
While there has been some support among the fanbase to see a change upstairs after what's happened in E20 in recent months, it looks like Kretinsky and David Sullivan are here to stay.

There were suggestions that Staveley also made Sullivan an offer for his shares at the Hammers.
That appears to be true, with PCP Capital Partners' original offer covering both the 38.8 per cent stake and the 25.1 per cent stake at London Stadium.
Staveley knew her bid to take control of the Irons might fail in the end, and that's exactly what happened.
It remains to be seen whether Kretinsky will be willing to work with PCP Capital Partners, who are open to opportunities at the East London club.
Speaking via Alan Nixon's Patreon on 11 September, Staveley said, “We are obviously disappointed not to have been successful in our bid to acquire the 25% shareholding in West Ham.
"For transparency, our original offer was for both David Sullivan's 38.8 per cent stake and Vanessa Gold's 25.1 per cent stake in the club.
"There was always the potential that the other shareholders would take up their rights under the shareholders' agreement, which is what they have elected to do.
"From the outset we and our global investment partners approached this opportunity with enormous respect for West Ham, its history, identity and most importantly loyal and committed supporters.
"We saw real potential to make a positive difference, rejuvenate the club and help West Ham compete consistently at the highest level of English football.
"Mehrdad and I, along with our partners, retain the greatest respect for the West Ham community who supported us both in the stands and online in recent weeks.
"We will continue to follow this process closely. Our ambitions for the club remain, and we would be open to the opportunity to work constructively with the existing shareholders in the future, subject to us not taking up other opportunities that have been presented to our consortium in the week of events over the past week.”
