David Moyes told to start ‘off the boil’ Said Benrahma v Burnley, West Ham United ace is ‘damn good’ – expert
We’re delighted to welcome former West Ham United striker Frank McAvennie as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the London Stadium…
Frank McAvennie has told West Ham manager David Moyes to start Said Benrahma when the Hammers take on Burnley.
The Hammers travel to Turf Moor to take on the struggling Clarets in Premier League action on Saturday (25 November).
And winger Benrahma could be handed a start after fellow winger Jarrod Bowen recently withdrew from the England squad due to a knee injury.

Speaking to West Ham Zone, McAvennie said: “He has to play somebody up with Danny Ings, and that would be Benrahma, I would imagine. You can’t play Ings on his own.
“Benrahma looks off the boil a bit. This is the time to go and start him, because he’s a damn good player. This is the time to say ‘We need you. Go and play off Ings and we’ll go from there.’
“I understand why Benrahma is a bit frozen out, it’s because of the way Mohammed Kudus is playing. But he’s just got to get his head down.”

Moyes may be forced into several changes for the trip to Burnley, with Michail Antonio also getting injured during the recent international break.
His absence could see a very rare start for Ings, who has featured for just 68 minutes in the Premier League this season.
Fellow attacker Benrahma could also be handed a start at Turf Moor, with the winger having been used sparingly in the league in recent months.
