West Ham have to sign Andrea Belotti in January

West Ham have to go all out and try to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti in the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old Italian has rejected what seems like a major contract offer from his current side, which means that he could be sold in the January transfer window [Fabrizio Romano].

Belotti’s deal expires in the summer of 2022, so can Torino really risk not getting a fee for him?

You would say that they can’t, and Belotti could be a fantastic addition for the Irons.

They have been very recently linked with a move for the striker by West Ham, with an offer being weighed up.

We see no reason why the Irons couldn’t get him pretty cheaply, and he could be the ideal foil for Michail Antonio.

He is an experienced international striker, and in 250 Serie A appearances, he has scored an impressive 99 goals for Torino.

So, he is a proven goalscorer in a top European league and given that the Hammers only have one striker, he could be the man they need to push on up the league to the next level.

He has been described as “relentless” by the Mirror and could be a fantastic addition to this Irons side.

We believe that this deal could be classed as a no-brainer because of his contract situation and the Hammers’ apparent interest.

It would be incredible if the Irons opted against signing Belotti, given his goal record and calibre.

This is a deal they have to be all over in January as they look to continue their squad building process.
