West Ham relegation chances shift after Tottenham loss at Chelsea
West Ham United have a slightly better chance at avoiding relegation after Tottenham lost at Chelsea.
The Stamford Bridge side beat the Lilywhites 2-1 in a tense encounter with goals from Enzo Fernandez and Andrey Santos, meaning Richarlison’s consolation meant very little.
The Irons are now just two points behind, and could overhaul their London rivals if results go their way on the final day.
The Hammers are at home to Leeds United, while Spurs face Everton on their own turf, which has not exactly been a fortress this season.
West Ham fans may have some hope, but the supercomputer’s latest prediction does not have much faith that they can get the job done when it matters most.

How have West Ham’s relegation chances shifted?
West Ham were handed a 93.83 per cent chance of dropping down to the Championship by the Opta Analyst model after the loss to Newcastle.
That has slightly improved after Roberto De Zerbi’s side were defeated on 19 May, with an 86.67 per cent chance after that result.

Spurs have a 13.33 per cent likelihood of relegation, meaning that it would take an unbelievable set of circumstances for the E20 outfit to avoid their fate.
The model expects the Irons to finish on 37.76 points, with the North London side finishing on a mark of 39.76 points.
Why does the supercomputer not believe in West Ham
The model does not believe in the Hammers’ ability to turn it around, and that is hardly a surprise.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side need to beat the Whites, who proved that it doesn’t matter that they have nothing to play for with wins over Tottenham and Brighton in their last two matches.
Meanwhile, a draw would be good enough for Spurs, and the Toffees have not been in brilliant form lately.

David Moyes’ side have not won in their last six matches, since the 3-0 win over Chelsea on 21 March, and one of those results in that streak was a 2-1 loss to the East London side.
Therefore, it is easy to see why the supercomputer does not have much faith in them stopping the Lilywhites and sees the London Stadium side going down.
