‘Terrible’ – These West Ham fans slam ‘atrocious’ Hammer in draw v Everton

Sebastien Haller drew another blank for West Ham in their 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday afternoon, and it’s fair to say that some supporters are getting a little fed up with his ineffectiveness in front of goal.

The Frenchman started the season at a canter for the Hammers, and registered three goals in his first three matches.

Since then though, he has hit the buffers a little, and has managed just three since the end of October, including one in his last five, as per Whoscored.

Those are not the kind of numbers you would be hoping for from a £36 million striker, and most frustrating of all is the sheer volume of opportunities he seems to waste.

In the first half alone against Everton he missed a couple of gilt-edged headed chances, and didn’t look anywhere near as sharp as you’d want him to be in an around the box.

Of course, he still has his advantages, not least that formidable aerial presence that has seen him win 8.3 aerial duels per 90 minutes in the Premier League so far this term, as per Whoscored, but where it counts, in front of goal, he could definitely still be doing more.

And many West Ham fans are in complete agreement…
