Youssouf Fofana priority shared by Fabrizio Romano as West Ham United decision clear
Youssouf Fofana still wants to join Serie A giants AC Milan despite talk of interest from West Ham United and Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The journalist reported the update through his Daily Briefing (7 July) and added that over the last few days, there has been no contact between the Hammers and Monaco.
There have also been no proposals from Manchester United as of yet, with the France international set on joining Milan, suggesting it is time for West Ham to move on for good.
“Youssouf Fofana’s priority is still clear – Monaco know that he wants to join AC Milan,” Romano said.
“There have not been talks with West Ham in recent days, and no proposal from Man United so far. Still no agreement between Milan and Monaco.

West Ham are one of the few Premier League teams to have made a plethora of improvements to their squad.
The Hammers were in dire need of reinforcement across the board and now the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Max Kilman have been added to their ranks, they seem to be in a much better place.
Indeed, last season wasn’t too much of a disappointing campaign for the club as they managed to finish in the top half of the Premier League table.
However, their defence and attack were both far from perfect which is one of the key reasons behind the club recruiting such a vast amount of players.
Within those arrivals also came Guido Rodriguez. The Argentina international plays in the same role as Fofana and arrived at the club on a free transfer.
While added depth in the centre of midfield would no doubt help Julen Lopetegui’s squad throughout the season, having two defensive midfielders within their ranks is more than good enough, for now at least.
