Inter Milan director to watch West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek up close today
Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio intends to attend the match between Albania and Czech Republic to watch West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek up close, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian outlet first reported on Wednesday (11 October) that the Serie A heavyweights are interested in signing Soucek at the end of the season.
In an update on Thursday (12 October), via FC Inter News, it was claimed that Ausilio will be in attendance at Air Albania Stadium later in the day in the hope of seeing Soucek in action.

Soucek is due to be out of contract at London Stadium at the end of the campaign, but West Ham reserve the right to extend that by 12 months should they wish.
Let’s wait and see
These rumours linking Soucek to Inter appear to be gathering some momentum, even if it is just to fill the gossip columns during the two-week international break.
If Inter chief Ausilio is spotted in Tirana, however, then there is clearly something to this speculation. After all, he is not going to travel all that way just to see how Inter youngster Kristjan Asllani is getting on.
Soucek is effectively under contract with West Ham for another 18 months or so – there is no way the Hammers would not trigger the extension clause – but there is surely a fear his head could be turned.

West Ham are a big club now competing in – and winning – European competitions, but the lure of playing for Inter at San Siro could be too much to turn down.
If that proves the case, then United will have to negotiate the best fee possible for Soucek at the end of the season.
As we saw with Jarrod Bowen just last week, though, Soucek could yet put pen to paper on fresh terms with United while all the speculation is circling.
In other West Ham news, a journalist has shared details on whether the Hammers intend to sign any new players in January.
