West Ham United transfer news as Everton twist emerges with Davinson Sanchez keen on move

Everton and Fulham have joined West Ham in the race to sign former Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez this summer, according to Caught Offside.

The media outlet reported on 20 May that the 27-year-old is open to returning to the Premier League amid the interest being shown in his services.

The Colombia international is also on the radar of Napoli, having impressed this past season for Galatasaray.

West Ham must act quickly if they are to bring Davinson Sanchez back to the Premier League

The Hammers must act quickly if they are to secure the signing of Sanchez, as competition from Everton and Fulham has intensified the race for the former Spurs centre-back.

With Napoli also expressing interest in the Colombian, West Ham must make a decisive move to avoid losing out on Sanchez.

The Irons, however, need to be cautious when considering former Premier League players, as their experience with Konstantinos Mavropanos has not been entirely successful.

Sanchez, however, has a proven track record in the Premier League, having played for Tottenham for six years before moving to Galatasaray.

This experience, combined with his strong performances in the Turkish league, might make him a potentially valuable addition.

To avoid missing out on Sanchez, the Hammers must make a competitive offer and present a clear vision for his role within the team.

It also remains to be seen if Julen Lopetegui is on board with this or if it’s a player Tim Steidten is keen on bringing to the club.

In other West Ham news, the wife of a Hammers player has potentially stirred up a controversy with her recent comments on social media accusing the club of bias.
