West Ham United to announce Crysencio Summerville transfer after contract update
West Ham United are set to announce the signing of Crysencio Summerville on Saturday 3 August, according to Graham Smyth.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist reported via X on Friday (2 August) that the Dutchman is set to follow teammate Archie Gray out of the Leeds United exit door and join Julen Lopetegui's ranks.
Reports from Sean Whetstone (2 August) had suggested the 22-year-old was set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the London Stadium by 4pm on Friday, although it hadn't yet been revealed when an announcement would be made.
The Hammers are set to pay the Championship club an initial fee believed to be in the region of £25million, with further add-ons expected to push the price up beyond £30million [Sean Whetstone, 1 August].

While there is always a fear from supporters that a deal won't be confirmed until there is an official announcement from the club, it seems as though the Hammers have managed to get their man this summer.
Supporters will have to wait a little longer than expected to have official confirmation from either club, but everything appears to be in place and it is just a case of dotting the is and cross the ts on the deal.
With this signing, Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have addressed one of the biggest issues David Moyes faced in the second half of last season which was the lack of depth in the wide areas of his squad.
Following the January departures of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahama, West Ham were left with Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen as their only real wingers and were forced to start Ben Johnson out wide.
Summerville will help solve that problem and if he manages to hit the ground running, he could prove to be the perfect foil for Bowen and Kudus on the opposite flank.
