West Ham United table bid for ‘Unbelievable’ West Brom star Grady Diangana
West Ham United have tabled a £9.7million bid for former academy star Grady Diangana, according to Africa Foot.
Writing on their website (27 May), the news outlet report that the West Brom star has emerged as a target for several clubs across Europe including Lazio, Roma, Wolves, Brighton and Leicester.
But the Hammers have moved to get an edge on them by tabling an offer for the DR Congo international after holding talks with the Baggies already.
West Ham to bolster the attack with an academy ace
It is easily forgettable but Diangana was a stand-out star in the West Ham academy squad before he opted to move on in search of more regular first-team football.
Since going to The Hawthorns the winger has emerged as a key star for Carlos Corberan, but his form has been littered with inconsistency and he hasn’t been able to help them get back to the top flight.
His good performances have still seen him labelled as “unbelievable” by current captain Jed Wallace, and with several changes expected this summer at the London Stadium, this could be some shrewd business.

Diangana wouldn’t be too expensive but would cover a problem position, while also contributing to the homegrown quota for the squad.
Tim Steidten and Julen Lopetegui are moving quickly to bolster the squad and Diangana could be on his way into the club in the coming weeks.
In other West Ham news, documents are to be signed within hours as the club seal its first summer signing according to Fabrizio Romano.
