West Ham United stance on Mohammed Kudus summer sale emerges amid clause update
West Ham United will not sell Mohammed Kudus next summer unless his £85million release clause is met, according to Sami Mokbel.
The journalist revealed via his Daily Mail column on 14 November that the Irons are expecting offers for the attacker at the end of the season, with Arsenal and Liverpool monitoring him closely.
However, the release clause, which becomes active again this summer, could prove to be prohibitive to suitors as clubs try to balance their books.
West Ham United stance over Mohammed Kudus transfer revealed
This is not the first time that Irons have taken a firm stance over Kudus’s sale as they refused to entertain offers for him last summer after his £85million release clause expired on 1 July [Sean Whetstone].
It appears the East London outfit have no plans to budge this summer unless the likes of Arsenal [Sunday People] and Liverpool trigger the release clause.
West Ham cannot be blamed for taking that approach as Kudus is one of the best players in the team.
Moreover, the Ghana international is contracted to the Hammers until the end of the 2027-28 season, meaning the club are under no pressure to sell.

Arsenal and Liverpool have previously shown that they are willing to spend astronomical sums to sign their target and would have to do the same if they want to acquire the 24-year-old’s services.
Kudus’s age, coupled with his Premier League experience, makes him an attractive target for the aforementioned clubs and there is no reason why the Irons should not hold out for £85million.
In other West Ham news, the Irons are plotting a January move for this player with a £16.6million price tag.
