West Ham United stance on Danny Ings revealed amid Wolves and Crystal Palace interest
Premier League duo Wolves and Crystal Palace have looked at West Ham United striker Danny Ings, according to The Mirror.
The publication reported on its website on Tuesday (30 January) that the Hammers are, however, expected to keep hold of him.
The Mirror added that the forward is likely to be the subject of interest right up until the January transfer window deadline.
On the move?
It remains to be seen exactly what West Ham have in mind for Ings, who has really underwhelmed at the London Stadium since his move from Aston Villa.
There is clearly a very talented and accomplished striker in there somewhere, but David Moyes really hasn’t found it yet.
The manager hasn’t exactly given the experienced forward many chances this season, while Ings hasn’t exactly taken them when they have finally come his way.
The lack of minutes has led to question marks over his future in East London, but for now he remains a West Ham player.
That could, of course, all change in the closing stages of the January window, but time really is running out for the likes of Wolves and Crystal Palace to complete a move for the 31-year-old.

Ings would certainly be an exciting signing for both of those clubs, where he would perhaps play regularly as opposed to largely warming the bench at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers want to seal a loan for a new forward as a “hitch” emerges, according to Jacob Steinberg.
