West Ham United source issues Luis Guilherme update amid transfer interest
West Ham summer signing Luis Guilherme has struggled since joining from Palmerias.
The Hammers brought the Brazilian talent in through the doors at the London Stadium ahead of the current Premier League season.
There were high hopes for the 19-year-old but it is safe to say that he hasn’t lived up to the hype, even with Graham Potter’s introduction.
Looking ahead to the end of the campaign, there is every chance that the Irons could look to cut their losses after just 12 months.

Guilherme subject to high level transfer interest
As a Brazilian winger, it is hardly surprising that there have been plenty of eyes on the teenager’s struggles in East London.
Guilherme has been afforded just 50 league minutes this year, while going without a single Premier League start until this point.

That hasn’t put the likes of Flamengo, Shakhtar Donetsk and Galatasaray showing an interest in the Brazil under-20 international, according to Claret and Hugh (19 March).
The Hammers insider has revealed their discussion with a source close to the London Stadium who has showcased the level of interest in the winger’s signature.
The trio of clubs already mentioned and “a lot of other clubs” are looking into the prospect of signing the Irons youngster.
The insider source also suggested: “We don’t think the Brazilian club will come back with the £18.4million (€22m) that we paid, and I don’t think the player will move to Ukraine.”

West Ham could cash in on Guilherme
There is no doubt that the summer signing has been a flop and represents another piece of frustrating business from Tim Steidten.
The London Stadium faithful are still hopeful that the young attacker can find his feet in England and prove why he was brought in.
With that being said, the hierarchy in E20 may not be so patient after spending so much on Guilherme in the summer.
If David Sullivan and Co. can recoup as close to the money they paid just 12 months ago in the upcoming window, then they are likely to do so.
It would be interesting to know how Potter feels about this move or whether he would prefer to get more out of the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Crysencio Summerville next season.
