West Ham United should look to secure deal for Nathan Ake
Having booked a place in Europe again next season, West Ham should focus on the summer transfer window ahead.
This is going to be a massive transfer window for the Hammers, and sorting out the defence should be a priority for David Moyes.
With that in mind, the Hammers must do everything to land Nathan Ake from Manchester City in the summer.

According to the reliable, ExWHUemployee on his Patreon account [May 16], the Hammers are looking to sign a left-sided centre-back and they are interested in the 25-times capped Dutch defender.
He would be a cracking signing for the club, and Moyes must get the deal done.
In the star-studded City team, Ake has only managed 14 Premier League appearances this season. At West Ham, he would be expected to start regularly.
Ex reports that the Hammers are likely to offload Issa Diop in the summer. Ake will not only a valuable replacement but an upgrade over him as well.
Having played for Chelsea and Bournemouth, he has got plenty of Premier League experience, and he is at the right age of his career to lead the defensive line.

Ake is very strong with his passing and distribution. He is an intelligent defender who reads the game very well.
His performances against Leeds United and Atletico Madrid this season were simply superb, and Moyes shouldn’t hesitate in making a bid for him.
He would be a stellar signing for the London club, although it’s not clear whether he would be willing to leave City, as he has a contract till 2025.
