West Ham United set to sell three players after Jean-Clair Todibo transfer
West Ham will now sanction the exits of Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos after signing Jean-Clair Todibo, according to HITC.
The news outlet reported on 10 August that after announcing Todibo’s transfer on Saturday, the process will begin to let the three centre-backs leave.
This comes despite the fact that Angelo Ogbonna left this summer with Max Kilman joining from Wolves.
Julen Lopetegui gets to build West Ham squad in his own image
Julen Lopetegui’s appointment as the Hammers head coach has ushered in a new era at the club, marked by significant changes in the squad composition.
The recent signing of Todibo from Nice is a clear indication of Lopetegui’s influence on the club’s transfer activities.
This move, along with the reported exits of Zouma, Aguerd, and Mavropanos, demonstrates Lopetegui’s determination to shape the team according to his vision.
Moreover, the club’s sporting director, Tim Steidten, has been instrumental in supporting the manager’s decisions.
Steidten’s role in securing Todibo’s signature, as well as his involvement in other key signings such as Kilman, Niclas Fullkrug, Guido Rodriguez, Crysencio Summerville, Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham, highlights the collaborative effort between the coaching staff and the club’s management to build a competitive squad.

Hopefully, the performances on the pitch are as good as the ones off it as the Hammers look to build a solid team for the future.
