West Ham United set to agree agent fee on Monday, Gianluca Scamacca deal close
West Ham United are close to reaching a personal agreement and bonuses with Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, as they aim for their fourth major summer signing.
According to West Ham football Twitter account, run by associate editor of Claret and Hugh (reliable Hammers source), the London outfit are most likely to agree “agent fee” for Alessandro Lucci (agent of Scamacca) on Monday.
The Hammers are “confident” that the deal will go through. The Italy striker could be set for medical as early as Tuesday (26 July), and the transfer should go through smoothly.
Exciting
The Hammers are showing great ambition in the transfer market, having already signed three players.
However, getting Scamacca would be a massive addition to the club.
A deal in the region of £35.5m deal was agreed last week, as reported by Sky Sports on 23 July, and it seems only the formalities remain for the transfer to go through.
Reaching a personal agreement with the striker won’t be a big problem, and the player is expected to complete his move in the next 72 hours.

Signing a striker was necessary this summer. The club failed to sign a striker in the past three transfer windows, and they heavily relied on Michail Antonio, the only striker at the club.
West Ham are likely to miss out on Armando Broja, but they could make a move to add another striker to their ranks.
Dharmesh Sheth said on Sky Sports on 25 July (transfer live blog, 13:30) that the Hammers are considering making a move for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz.
