
West Ham United scouts joined by Arsenal and Tottenham in pursuit of Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Konate
West Ham scouts have watched over Red Bull Salzburg and Ivory Coast striker Karim Konate, according to 90min.
The publication reported on its website on Tuesday (7 November) that Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace have also checked in on the player.
The 19-year-old, who has nine caps for Ivory Coast, has scored 10 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions this season.

“In addition to Arsenal and Spurs, Crystal Palace and West Ham United checked in on Konate’s progress having both watched over him recently,” according to 90min.

Next Red Bull Salzburg star?
It certainly makes sense to send scouts to watch Red Bull Salzburg in action, with the Austrian club helping develop several stars over the years.
The likes of Manchester City icon Erling Haaland, Liverpool ace Dominik Szoboszlai and former Anfield hero Sadio Mane all spent time at the club before moving on to bigger and better things.
And young striker Konate may just be the next in line, with the teenager already in double figures for goals this season. The Ivory Coast international has been impressing in league action, with eight goals from his 13 games this season.
He has also been involved in the Champions League, although the youngster is yet to find the back of the net in Group D clashes with Inter Milan, Benfica and Real Sociedad.
The Hammers could certainly do with attacking reinforcements, having lost Gianluca Scamacca in the summer, and with the futures of both Michail Antonio and Danny Ings currently up in the air.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are waiting in line to sign a Serie A star, with a summer transfer on the cards for the player.
