West Ham United rush to complete Luis Guilherme transfer as Saudi hijack fears emerge
West Ham United are rushing to confirm the signing of Luis Guilherme amid concerns the transfer could be hijacked, according to GiveMeSport.
The outlet reported on its website on Tuesday (4 June) that a deal to acquire the teenage Brazilian is close, but the Hammers will remain incredibly cautious whilst the paperwork is signed to confirm the move.
Guilherme is the subject of genuine interest from the Saudi Pro League and while no offer has yet been made for his services, intermediaries have pitched a potential £5million-per-season contract to the Irons target.
To avoid any other clubs staging a late hijack on the move, the Irons will not take any chances when attempting to get the switch over the line.

Would it really be a summer transfer window at West Ham if there wasn’t a transfer saga that has ebbed and flowed in this manner? One minute the deal was finished, then it had collapsed and now it appears moments away from completion.
However, it isn’t over until Guilherme is pictured in a Hammers shirt at the London Stadium and it appears as though the Irons know that as they look to get this deal signed, sealed and delivered as soon as possible.
Julen Lopetegui is understood to want to make a number of additions to his squad and a new wide forward was always going to be a priority for the former Real Madrid man and in the teenage Brazilian, he has one of South America’s most exciting talents.
Hopefully, West Ham’s effort to get this deal finalised will be worthwhile and Guilherme will put pen to paper to agree terms. However, until an official statement is made by the club, nobody can be sure a late hijack won’t arrive.
This saga will almost certainly come to a head in the coming days.
