West Ham United respond as Tottenham make Jarrod Bowen transfer enquiry
Tottenham have seen their enquiry for Jarrod Bowen rejected by West Ham, with Ange Postecoglou looking to bolster his attack, according to HITC.
The online source reported [25 June] that Spurs enquired at the “highest levels” between the two parties, with the Hammers making it clear the club would be wasting their time this summer.
It is understood that West Ham have informed Spurs that a bid of £150million would be needed to sign their sensational goalscorer, a fee that the Lilywhites have no interest in reaching.
West Ham United respond as Tottenham want Jarrod Bowen
The 27-year-old winger is one of the most important players at the London Stadium, having notched 20 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season, earning himself a spot in the England team this summer.
Bowen even came on during the Three Lions’ first match against Serbia, nearly setting up Harry Kane with one of his first touches of the ball, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
With a new era to begin at the London Stadium under Julen Lopetegui, the Spaniard will be in no mood to lose his star winger, especially with the saga surrounding Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus being linked with a move away.
The Englishman has already earned legendary status among the Hammers fans, having scored the winning goal to help West Ham lift the Europa Conference League – the first European trophy in decades.

While £150million is a lot of money, with the Irons securing over £100million for the sale of Declan Rice last summer, as per BBC Sport, it would be extremely difficult to replace Bowen.
The thought of playing alongside Son Heung-Min, Dejan Kulusevksi and James Maddison could be a tempting move for the winger, but the Hammers are under no pressure to let him go.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers want to secure the transfer of a player who’s set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this month.
