West Ham United ready bid to seal Nehuen Perez transfer in new update
West Ham United are keen to sign Nehuen Perez from Udinese, according to talkSPORT.
The report on 11 June states that the Hammers are readying a bid of around £13.5million for the defender.
Perez, 23, is thought to be a huge admirer of international compatriot Cristian Romero and is eager to replicate the Tottenham star’s Premier League impact.
Who is West Ham United target Nehuen Perez?
In 2018, Atletico Madrid bought Perez but loaned the then-18-year-old back to Argentinos Juniors for another season.
That would prove to be the first of a series of temporary moves for the Argentine, who spent campaigns at Famalicao and Granada before joining Udinese on loan in the summer of 2021.
He impressed sufficiently to convince the Serie A side to make that move permanent the following summer and he has become a mainstay in their defence, starting 36 league games in 2023/24.
The 23-year-old is a superb ball-winner. In the 2023/24 Serie A campaign, he won 48 tackles, and 82 aerial duels and made 164 recoveries, demonstrating his ability to defend impeccably both in the air and on the ground [FotMob].

His 118 accurate long balls will help the team attack directly, though his 80.3 per cent passing accuracy overall is low for a central defender and will need to improve if he is to fit into Julen Lopetegui’s high-possession model.
