West Ham United put on ‘red alert’ as PSG make Hugo Ekitike transfer decision
West Ham are among Premier League clubs who have been put on red alert after Paris Saint-Germain decided they are ready to sell Hugo Ekitike, according to The Sun.
The newspaper shared via their website on 28 November that West Ham, Crystal Palace and Newcastle have all shown an interest in bringing the Frenchman to the Premier League.
Ekitike joined PSG in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around £30million, but the club would prefer to move him on permanently, although they may be open to a loan with an option to buy.

Get it done
West Ham have been targeting a new striker ever since Gianluca Scamacca departed in the summer transfer window, and now with Michail Antonio injured that need has become even more pressing with the lack of depth becoming clear.
Given the struggles of Antonio and Danny Ings up front this season, Ekitike could represent a new option for the Hammers, with his talent likely to make an impact on the first team should he arrive in January.
At just 21 years old, he presents a younger and fresher option than both Antonio and Ings, both of whom are in the twilight of their careers. Ekitike’s play style also differs from the current duo, as he is much more comfortable in possession.

As PSG are seemingly desperate to get the 21-year-old off their books due to a bust-up on deadline day, a loan deal could now be an avenue for West Ham to explore if they feel this would be in the best interest of all parties for bringing their target to the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have left a star player at home before the Europa League clash.
