West Ham United pay attention to Naby Keita contract situation at Liverpool
West Ham United are paying “attention” to Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita with the 27-year-old’s contract up in the summer according to MilanLive.It.
The Italian news outlet (25 October) with over 1,000,000 followers on Facebook has suggested the Hammers, Newcastle and Serie A giants AC Milan are alert to the midfielder’s situation.
However, it’s also understood a return to Germany is not out of the question with Borussia Dortmund being a possible destination for the midfielder.

Midfield links
In recent days the club have been linked with a number of midfielders with it becoming abundantly clear where David Moyes wants to improve his squad.
The Hammers are reportedly scouting Eredivisie duo Edson Alvarez and Ibrahim Sangare (90min, 24 October) as Moyes looks to strengthen in the middle of the park.
Keita is certainly a player with bundles of ability, and still has plenty to offer considering he is only 27. If reports are to be believed, the Hammers should be keeping a keen eye on his contract situation at Anfield – Keita could well be an astute pickup from the club.

The sudden influx of midfield rumours could also come as a worry to the Hammers, with Declan Rice’s future bound to come into the spotlight in the summer window. With Chelsea lurking and supported well by Todd Boehly, there’s a good chance they could finally make a meaningful move for the 23-year-old.
Let’s hope the recent rumours are West Ham looking to improve what they already have, as opposed to replacements for Rice.
