West Ham United news emerges with Jarrod Bowen contract update
West Ham are hopeful that their star man Jarrod Bowen will extend his current deal at the London Stadium, despite reported interest from Liverpool, according to 90min.
The online news outlet shared that Bowen’s current deal runs out in 2025, and the Hammers have been keen on seeing him extend the deal for well over a year now, with talks beginning prior to the Europa Conference League victory.
Liverpool have been reported with an interest in the winger to replace Mohammed Salah, should the latter make a move to Saudi Arabia, with journalist Ben Jacobs recently suggesting Bowen would be a good fit at Anfield [GIVEMESPORT, 16 September].
Bowen should extend his stay in London
While interest from Liverpool will be a difficult opportunity for any player to turn down, West Ham have proved to Bowen that winning silverware and competing in European competitions is a very real possibility at the London Stadium.
The winger wrote himself into West Ham legend by scoring the winning goal in the Europa Conference League final in Prague last season. He is completely idolised in East London, with his chant (you know the one) ringing around the stadium every week.

You’d have to assume that, without the apparent interest from the Merseyside club, it would be a no-brainer for Bowen to extend his stay in East London. The hope will be that the interest isn’t enough to turn his head, and the club remain confident of tying him down.
Bowen has had another impressive start to this season as he scored in wins over Brighton and Chelsea, as well as in the opening day draw at Bournemouth, once again proving his worth to the Hammers and David Moyes.
