West Ham United negotiations conclude in their bid to sign Wilfred Zaha from Galatasaray
West Ham United look set to miss out on signing Wilfred Zaha from Galatasaray this summer with him set to stay put in Istanbul, according to Fanatik.
The Ivorian signed for Gala last summer and despite winning the Super Lig title with 102 points, he was criticised for his performances.
The Turkish outlet have reported (14 June) that the Turkish side are “preparing to give another chance to” the forward despite falling “below expectations” last season.
Zaha has held “negotiations” with the Hammers but nothing came of it and now he “may stay” in Turkyie beyond this summer.
West Ham to miss out on Wilfred Zaha
Tim Steidten has been on a scouting mission to bring in some fresh faces to the London Stadium ahead of Julen Lopetegui’s first season in charge.
Now that the summer transfer window is open, the German can step up his pursuit of stars after confirming the signing of Luis Guilherme.
Links to Zaha began before his move to Galatasaray but after a frustrating season with a lack of game time, he could be on the move again.
He certainly could prove to be a useful option for the Hammers. The 31-year-old would bring a wealth of Premier League experience and attacking gyle.

What makes the Ivorian so positive as a player is his arrogance which is clear for all to see. After starting just 13 games last season [FotMob], he’ll be demanding better.
After signing on a free in the summer his wages at Gala are likely to be high which may put the Hammers off in their negotiations.
