West Ham braced for Kudus mega bid as specific clause revealed
Mohammed Kudus’ West Ham United future is in doubt while Graham Potter’s men are enduring a poor Premier League campaign.
Saturday’s 1-1 draw with already relegated Southampton left the Hammers just 17th in the top flight with five games remaining.
The London Stadium outfit are yet to win since their 2-0 win over Leicester on 27 February, when Tomas Soucek got himself on the scoresheet alongside Jannik Vestergaard’s own goal.
Potter will be keen to oversee a rebuild this summer, while the Hammers could sanction the exits of nine players.

West Ham have inserted a Saudi-specific release clause in Kudus’ contract
Wideman Kudus has scored three goals and created two assists in the Premier League this season, but could be on the move this summer.

According to talkSPORT, Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have identified Kudus as their number one target ahead of the summer window and are preparing a potential record Saudi Pro League transfer, worth £85.3million.
The report adds that the Ghana international boasts a Saudi-specific release clause of £120m, which is valid from July 1-10.
His Premier League buyout clause, worth £85m, also becomes active this summer.

The summer transfer window could define Potter’s West Ham tenure
Potter took the managerial reins from former boss Julen Lopetegui back in January, and the West Ham faithful had hoped the Englishman would turn their fortunes around amid a poor season.
However, the ex-Brighton boss has won just three of his 14 games in charge of the London club, which may have already brought his long-term future into doubt.
Therefore, it is vital that Potter can oversee a successful summer transfer window at West Ham while senior figures such as Soucek could be set for the exit door.
Receiving a massive transfer fee for Kudus’ services could help Potter oversee a strong transfer window and build his own Hammers squad ahead of next season.
The London Stadium side boast some ambitious transfer plans and have set their sights on prolific Lille forward Jonathan David, who is available on a free transfer this summer.
Potter’s men could also sign Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters, who should be keen to leave the Saints after their relegation.
