West Ham United medicals delayed until Monday as media work to be done for announcements
Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez will undergo the second part of their West Ham United medicals on Monday 5 August, according to Sean Whetstone.
Whetstone reported via the X account West Ham Football (4 August) that both players are set to sign their Hammers contracts tomorrow with an announcement expected late on Monday or Tuesday (6 August) morning.
Both players jetted into East London on Saturday (3 August) and have completed the first part of their medical assessments with the Irons, but there is still work to be done within the media team before the club makes either arrival official.

After a quiet few weeks of the transfer window, the Hammers have come back to life in the last couple of days as Julen Lopetegui continues to prepare his squad ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
Most supporters would have expected the Hammers to focus on recruiting younger players this summer because of their recent business, but these two signings show a slightly different approach to what fans are used to.
There is always a slight risk when it comes to signing players over 30. Neither Fullkrug nor Rodriguez will hold any real sell-on value and there is a slim but realistic chance they could begin to slow down or lose their touch.
Perhaps Lopetegui feels his squad need one or two older heads to help navigate a full Premier League season, after all, every squad does need a blend of youth and experience to be successful.
Hopefully, both players will get through the second part of their medicals without any issues so that they are ready to begin work alongside Crysencio Summerville as preparations continue over the next few weeks.
Whether the deal is completed on Monday or Tuesday won't really matter as long as both signings are finalised without any unexpected issues arising.
