West Ham United: Max Kilman transfer on cards despite David Moyes uncertainty

West Ham are keeping a close eye on Wolves defender Max Kilman ahead of a possible summer transfer despite uncertainty around David Moyes’ future, according to Give Me Sport.

The news outlet reported on 4 April that the Hammers were interested in January but never had the opportunity to make the move, but have continued to watch him as a transfer target.

It is said that, having followed his progress for a while, the Hammers could now be tempted to test the water for him despite uncertainty over whether Moyes will remain beyond the summer.

West Ham want to sign Max Kilman from Wolves

The Hammers have been tracking several centre-backs to improve their defence as we approach the summer transfer window, with a possible move for Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso on the cards as he would be available for free.

Former West Ham forward Frank McAvennie has insisted the club should sign Harry Maguire from Manchester United, as he has been heavily critical of both Kurt Zouma and Konstantinos Mavropanos’ performances this season.

Meanwhile, Moyes’ future remains up in the air with a contract reportedly on the table, as no further clarity has emerged since the club delayed talks after a poor run of form during the Christmas period.

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth insisted that Moyes will make the final decision about whether he stays or leaves in the summer, as he suggested that a Europa League challenge could push him to stay at the London Stadium.

In other West Ham news, a move for a new striker is also on the cards.
