West Ham United: Lucas Paqueta exit expected amid new Man City personal terms development
West Ham star Lucas Paqueta is on course to join Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.
The news outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (10 April) that sources have revealed that the Brazilian international heading to the Premier League champions is “a deal we should expect” to happen once the window reopens.
But it added that reports over the 26-year-old attacking midfielder agreeing personal terms with the Citizens are expected to be downplayed until the end of the season because of how much both clubs are playing for over the next few weeks.
Could Lucas Paqueta leave West Ham for Man City?
It seems as though there is a very good chance Paqueta will leave West Ham this summer on the back of another excellent season.
The attacking midfielder was heavily linked with Man City last year before the reports about his involvement in a betting scandal surfaced and scuppered the deal.
But they are expected to reignite their interest once again when the transfer window opens and it’s unlikely the Hammers will stand in his way if their valuation is met.

It would certainly be a blow to lose a player of the Brazilian’s undoubted quality, but the club wouldn’t prevent him from joining what is perhaps the best team in world football.
David Moyes will just be looking for him to continue making an impact for us in the final few weeks of the season as we look to ensure this is another successful campaign at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have received a boost in their pursuit of a Euro forward.
