West Ham have joined a whole host of European clubs interested in Shakhtar Donetsk's Georgiy Sudakov's signature, according to Tutto Juve.

The 21-year-old has become one of the most talked about young talents in European football, being given the opportunity to play every minute of Shakhtar's UEFA Champions League campaign so far and gaining valuable minutes in the league.

The news website reported on Friday (24 November) that West Ham are the next club in a long line chasing after the Ukrainian, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle United all enquiring about the youngster.

It is understood that the Hammers would need to offer somewhere in the region of £35million if they are to add Sudakov to their ranks.

It's always good to have options

Sudakov's performances have gone relatively under the radar until now. The young midfielder burst onto the scene during the 2020/21 season, starting 10 games for his current club and scoring his first Shakhtar goal.

Similar to new signing Mohamed Kudus, Sudakov is primarily an attacking midfielder but is capable of playing further forward on the wing.

As a central player efficient with both feet, the player would bring a new dimension to the Hammers midfield, spreading passes out to Kudus, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta.

With five goals and 11 assists last season, and a further three goals and one assist so far this season, it is clear to see that Sudakov is a threat in front of goal, a player that West Ham will be desperate to add to the squad.

Only Bowen and James Ward-Prowse have recorded over five goal contributions, and with his amount of Champions League experience already at such a young age, Sudakov could be a perfect fit for David Moyes' side.
