West Ham United interfere for Vitao transfer as exit ramp lined up already

West Ham United have interfered with Real Betis’ plans to sign Vitao, with an exit ramp already lined up for the defender at Internacional, according to ABC.

The Spanish site reported that the 24-year-old was set to complete his move to Spain, but the interference of clubs like West Ham and Nottingham Forest has made things more difficult.

Despite that, Betis are still confident that they can secure the signature of their target.

Vitao might be exactly what West Ham need

West Ham’s hunt for a solid centre-back might finally be over with the potential signing of Vitao.

This 24-year-old Brazilian isn’t just a physical presence; he’s got the technical skills to back it up. His ability to play on either side of the central defence and his excellent ball control make him a good candidate.

Julen Lopetegui is determined to strengthen his defence after a failed attempt to sign Fabricio Bruno and now, somewhat unsurprisingly, has his sights set on Vitao.

Vitao’s got everything the Premier League demands: height, strength, speed, and athleticism. Despite being relatively unknown, he could be the ideal addition to West Ham’s defence, offering the stability and versatility they’ve been craving.

If this deal goes through, Vitao could make a significant impact at the London Stadium.

In other West Ham news, the club are looking to hijack a PSG deal for one “unbelievable” attacker.
