West Ham United in race against time to sign Thilo Kehrer with talks on Wednesday night – ExWHUemployee
West Ham are now in a “race against time” to sign Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thilo Kehrer after selling Issa Diop to Fulham, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing via his Patreon account on 10 August after Diop’s £15million move to Fulham was confirmed, Ex reported that the Hammers are now trying to quickly push through the signing of 25-year-old Germany international Kehrer.
It is understood that PSG want around £20million for the former Schalke defender but West Ham are not matching that just yet.

ExWHUemployee adds that there is competition from other clubs but the Hammers “will continue with negotiations again in the coming hours and days”.

West Ham are making really strong efforts to sign Kehrer.
It’s good to see the Irons aiming high by trying to land the Germany and PSG ace as he could be someone who’ll spend years and years at the London Stadium.
Kehrer is approaching the peak of his career but he’s not a solid starter at PSG.
He’s made 128 appearances in all competitions for them over the last four years but he’s now in the final year of his contract and it does seem as though PSG are looking to offload him.

But if they really want to cash in on Kehrer, they need to reduce their demands.
It could be one that rumbles on until the summer transfer window closes but it would be great if David Moyes and co can wrap this up as soon as possible.
With Diop gone and Nayef Aguerd injured, we’re only one or two more blows away from a defensive crisis, which is inexcusable while a transfer window is open.
Come on, West Ham. Don’t let us down on this one.
