West Ham United in pursuit of Adam Hlozek as ‘bargain’ £12m Bayer Leverkusen transfer reveal emerges
West Ham are in pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen and Czech Republic striker Adam Hlozek who could be snapped up on a “bargain” £12million deal, according to Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper reported in their print edition on 23 June (page 76) that Leeds are also interested.
Despite only making four starts last season, the 21-year-old scored seven goals and registered five assists in all competitions.
He is still highly regarded across Europe and boasts 32 caps for the Czech Republic, for whom he is currently featuring at Euro 2024.
Why buy Hlozek?
West Ham United might consider signing Hlozek from Bayer Leverkusen for many reasons. At just 21 years old, he has already shown his potential by featuring in Xabi Alonso’s invincible Leverkusen team, despite limited starts.
His impressive tally of seven goals and five assists last season across all competitions shows that he is full of potential and can be a game-changer even coming off the bench.
Highly rated across Europe and with 32 caps for the Czech Republic, Hlozek brings international experience that sets him apart at a young age, something that could be beneficial in the Premier League.

On top of that, standing at 6ft 1in (1.88m), he possesses the physical stature and technical skills to thrive in the top flight of English football.
With a market value of £12million, West Ham could secure a bargain deal this summer. Hlozek’s nimble and cunning attacking style, coupled with his drive towards goal, could provide the Hammers with much-needed offensive firepower.
In other West Ham news, the club have made contact with Premier League billionaires to sign a new striker this summer.
