West Ham United in hot pursuit of France World Cup star Adrien Rabiot
West Ham United want to sign Juventus and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot after his excellent performances at the World Cup, according to GiveMeSport.
The Hammers are keen to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window after a poor start to the season saw them enter the mid-season break just one point above the relegation zone.
And with Rabiot out of contract in Turin this summer, David Moyes is keen to try and make a move for him after watching him regularly and keeping a brief.

“Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has had a great tournament so far and that might be enough to elevate him into the thinking of other big clubs around Europe,” they wrote (11 December).
“Manchester United considered him last summer and sources indicate that Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham have him marked as a watching brief.”
Talent
There is no doubting the talent that Rabiot possesses as a footballer, with a great engine and excellent guile in midfield to progress the ball forward.
It’s one of the reasons he was named as France’s “unlikely World Cup saviour” by The Independent (26 November), helping the team to reach the semi-finals after a big win over England on Saturday (10 December).
His arrival at the London Stadium would be a huge statement of intent from the club, considering Rabiot has played for Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, and is being linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United too.
His biggest issue has been his attitude and entourage in the past, but he seems to have matured in recent seasons and that is less of a problem now, and if Moyes thinks he could fit in with the West Ham squad then he would be a great addition to the footballing side of the staff.
We need quality additions and he would fit the bill, so a January move should certainly be explored to get ahead of the pack.
