Mads Hermansen has been Nuno Espirito Santo's first choice at the Hammers since February 2026, but they may have a tough decision to make over his future.
The Irons signed the Denmark international for around £20million in the summer of 2025, but he has had a mixed spell.
Hermansen's performances haven't really convinced the London Stadium faithful in recent months.

Mads Hermansen suffers Denmark blow on international break
Hermansen started on the bench for Denmark against Norway, with Erling Haaland's team winning 3-2.
The 26-year-old is competing for his country's number one spot after Kasper Schmeichel's retirement.
Filip Jorgensen, who's on loan at Strasbourg from Chelsea, started against Norway ahead of the Hammers' shot-stopper.
On the face of it, Hermansen being snubbed may not mean much for the London Stadium faithful, but Brian Riemer's reason to drop him should raise some concerns.
Speaking to the media, the Danish manager said, "I think Filip has a little more range and Norway has been superb on set pieces.
"We also know that Norway likes to pull in from the wings and finish with these twisted kicks. Filip may also have a little more range there. But it is in close competition."

Against Millwall, there were moments where Hermansen left his defenders completely stranded by failing to take control in the box.
The Lions targeted the Hammers through set-pieces and the goalkeeper didn't look convincing at times when he came out to collect the ball.
Millwall scored through two long throws, and while the shot-stopper wasn't entirely at fault, he could've maybe shown more authority before the second goal went in.
Clubs in the Championship will surely want to use any physical advantage they have against the Irons and hurt them through set-pieces if possible.
The East London club's defensive record in the league is poor and the arrival of a new quality number one in January could guarantee their promotion back to the Premier League.
