West Ham United eye rising star Taylor as exit set to be sanctioned
West Ham could be in line to make a summer swoop to sign young defender Jack Taylor.
The Hammers are likely to have a busy window after what has been a really poor season compared to initial expectations.
Under Graham Potter, form has continued to frustrate, but his work in the transfer market could prove to have a telling impact on his success in East London.
This could see the summer kick off with an approach for a rising star from the EFL in the shape of Sutton United defender Taylor.

West Ham interested in young defender Taylor
Throughout his time with Brighton, the Hammers boss oversaw a number of transfers of young talent who had a telling impact on his squad.
Arguably, the biggest example of that was Evan Ferguson, regardless of his failure to impress since making a loan switch to the London Stadium.
The Irons will be hoping that the English head coach can replicate that sort of transfer strategy in E20, moving deeper into his reign.
A deal for Taylor certainly feels closer to his work at the Amex Stadium and could prove to be wise moving into the new season.
The 20-year-old has had a positive season with Sutton United this campaign since returning from a loan spell with Hampton and Richmond.
According to EFL Analysis (12 May), this has attracted interest of multiple Premier League sides, including West Ham, Tottenham and Brentford, ahead of the transfer window.
The likes of Bristol City, Millwall and Portsmouth of the Championship are also keen as the centre-back heads into the final year of his contract at Gander Green Lane.

Taylor deal to represent coup for West Ham
There is a positive crop of young players coming through at Rush Green right now who could have a positive impact on the first team.
This has already been the case with Ollie Scarles in the Premier League this season, often starting ahead of Emerson in East London.
Moving into the new campaign, the likes of Lewis Orford and Freddie Potts could also be set for a regular role in East London.
Taylor could also opt to turn down interest from elsewhere in the Premier League to select a move to the Hammers, representing a real coup for Potter.
This would be an ideal sign of intent for the Irons and show that they are an ideal destination for young talent from across the EFL.
