West Ham, Newcastle and Tottenham are all keeping tabs on Leicester City centre-back Caleb Okoli, according to TBR.

The news outlet reported that Spurs were tracking the 23-year-old in the summer as well but he left Atalanta for the Foxes for a fee north of £10million.

The Italian has been rewarded with a place in the national team for his performances this season and has caught the eye of other Premier League clubs as well.

West Ham are unlikely to seal Caleb Okoli transfer

The Hammers already bolstered their defensive options in the summer transfer window by signing two centre-backs, indicating a focus on integrating these new signings rather than immediately seeking further depth in that position.

Additionally, Okoli's recent move to Leicester City, where he joined with high expectations and has already started to make an impression, suggests a commitment from both the player and the club to develop his career at King Power Stadium.

Given his age and the investment Leicester made in acquiring him from Atalanta, the 23-year-old would logically aim to establish himself where he has an opportunity to grow and potentially become a key player.

Moreover, moving so soon after a significant transfer could disrupt his career progression and adaptation to the Premier League, making a quick switch to the London Stadium or any other club highly improbable at this stage.

Perhaps, at the end of the season, if he's gone on to have a miraculous campaign and Leicester get relegated, he could end up staying.
