West Ham United: Dharmesh Sheth shares whether Declan Rice move to Chelsea is ‘done deal’
Declan Rice’s move from West Ham United to Chelsea is not a “done deal” despite talk about a possible agreement, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, the Sky Sports News journalist reported that the Irons will not be selling Rice, 21, for anything less than they feel he’s worth.
In May, David Moyes said it would take over £150million to prise the England international away from the London Stadium.

However, Sheth has rubbished the notion that anything is agreed between West Ham and Chelsea even though Rice has been forever linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
“West Ham United, make no mistake about it, they know the value of Declan Rice. They will not be selling him on the cheap,” Sheth told GiveMeSport.
“There’s all this talk about that it’s a done deal to Chelsea. He’s going to reunite with his best friend Mason Mount. All of that stuff, that’s been going on for years and years and years, and yet he’s still remained at West Ham United.”

Final year?
It could really be Rice’s final season at West Ham.
While the season is still early and Moyes’ summer signings are still bedding in, it doesn’t feel as though we’re going to see an improvement upon the last two seasons.
For Rice to stay, we’d probably need to qualify for the Champions League or win some silverware.
And while the latter seems the most likely, we doubt that a Europa Conference League winners’ medal would convince Rice to stay longer at the London Stadium when he’s very clearly too good to stay with us much longer.
We wouldn’t be mad with Rice is he moved on.
He’s been too good for West Ham for quite some time now and is easily the best player in the Premier League outside of the traditional big-six.
All we can hope for is to get top dollar for the midfielder, although it feels as though the money we spent in the summer just gone was spent with the understanding it would be recouped from selling Rice.
We’ll see. But we’re just thankful that we’ve clung onto him as long as we have done.
