New striker incoming?

Premier League fans will be well familiar with Werner’s work, with the striker having made 89 appearances for West London outfit Chelsea.

The move to Stamford Bridge came after the forward impressed for RB Leipzig and Germany, but his switch to England certainly didn’t go to plan.

The Hammers could, however, offer Werner with a chance of redemption, in a move that may just work out for all parties,

RB Leipzig clearly don’t view the forward as a key player, with the 27-year-old playing under 400 minutes in all competitions this season.

A switch to a new club where he can play regularly would certainly do Werner the world of good meanwhile as Euro 2024 rapidly approaches.

And West Ham fans will be desperate to see a new striker brought to the London Stadium sooner rather than later, with the club really relying on winger Jarrod Bowen for goals this season.

In other West Ham news, a journalist has made a Hammers transfer prediction as a David Moyes “issue” is highlighted.
