West Ham United could turn attention to teammate after approaches rejected for Conor Gallagher – ExWHUemployee
West Ham could turn their attention to Ruben Loftus-Cheek of Chelsea after having several approaches turned down for Conor Gallagher, according to ExWHUemployee.
David Moyes is keen to make midfield additions before the transfer window closes at the end of the month and is very interested in Gallagher, who shone on loan for Crystal Palace last year in the Premier League.
But after having approaches turned down the club are looking at his teammate Loftus-Cheek, while Ex also says a deal for Ibrahim Sangare isn’t completely dead despite him signing a new deal at PSV Eindhoven and Said Benrahma is unlikely to leave as things stand.

“There has been talk that Benrahma could go and Forest are lining him up,” he said. “I don’t think he will go yet, unless we receive a £25m bid like reported.
“We have other players lined up like Sangare at PSV, but he signed a new contract which I believe passes him beyond what we’re prepared to pay for him now. He might be looking to move next year instead.
“I wouldn’t say that deal is completely dead, but with the signing of the new contract it looks like it’s going to be more difficult.
“I also heard that we’re very interested in Conor Gallagher of Chelsea. We’ve made a number of approaches throughout this window to try and sign him on loan. Loftus-Cheek possibly another one [we’re looking at].
“They’ve rejected a number of approaches for Gallagher from us though.”

Powerhouse
Loftus-Cheek could prove to be an inspired bit of business if West Ham can pull it off, because he ticks all the boxes for what a midfielder should be.
He’s powerful, quick, great on the ball, and excellent passer, strong dribbler, physically strong and a goal threat too. He would be the perfect compliment to Declan Rice.
Reports earlier in the window suggested that he had no intention of leaving the club this summer, but the promise of more regular football in his preferred position could potentially change his mind.
It would most likely have to be a loan deal considering the player’s stance, but as long as West Ham get to strengthen their midfield then it should definitely be a deal we look at properly.
Moyes will be keen to keep as many of his strongest players in the side so while Benrahma is out of favour, he won’t want to see his side weakened either so it’s unlikely he allows him to leave without someone else coming in first.
