West Ham United could make Aaron Wan-Bissaka announcement after Monday twists
West Ham could announce the signing of Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Tuesday 13 August, according to Manchester Evening News.
The newspaper reports on its website that the £15million transfer could be confirmed within hours. However, just on Monday 12 August, it was touch and go whether it would be completed on that day.
This comes after a long courtship from West Ham that led to an agreement finally being reached with Manchester United (Dharmesh Sheth, 11 August).
West Ham ready transfer announcement
Fans have been on the edge of their seats for weeks now.
This deal has taken so many different turns, and now, it seems like it’s finally on the verge of the move being confirmed. In a lot of ways, this whole saga feels like a perfect summary of how big deals like this can go.

The good news for the Hammers is that Julen Lopetegui isn’t just sitting on one deal. Instead, he’s doing his best to add strength in depth across the pitch. Alas, given just how long this has been ongoing for, the hope will be that Wan-Bissaka will be integrated into the first team as quickly as possible.
After all, we’re now just four days away from the new Premier League campaign.
A tough battle with Aston Villa awaits and if Wan-Bissaka can be introduced at London Stadium with such a short turnaround, it’ll mark yet another great step forward for a club that continues to grow.
