West Ham United close in on West Brom ace Grady Diangana as £7m update emerges

West Ham are closing in on securing the services of West Brom attacker Grady Diangana this summer, according to Africa Foot United.

The media outlet reported on 22 May that Wolves, Brighton and Leicester are also keen on the 26-year-old attacker.

The Hammers have submitted a £7million initial bid for the Congo international along with £1-3million in add-ons.

Grady Diangana could be a good option for West Ham United

Diangana is a talented and versatile attacker who has already proven himself in the Championship, contributing significantly to West Brom’s promotion fight.

The 26-year-old is entering the prime years of his career, which further justifies the investment.

Additionally, the interest from other Premier League clubs like Wolves, Brighton, and Leicester indicates his value and potential impact.

As for being a good bench option for the Hammers, Diangana’s ability to play on both wings and as an attacking midfielder provides much-needed depth and flexibility to the squad.

His pace, dribbling skills, and eye for goal can offer a different dynamic to the club’s attack, especially as an impact substitute.

While he may not be as effective as Mohammed Kudus, he is similar to him stylistically and everything suggests this could be a good signing.
